At present, spot prices are trading flat vs pre-data levels around the $1790 mark, having chopped between the $1784-$1797 levels in a two-way knee-jerk reaction to the data. Spot gold (XAU/USD) prices have seen a mixed reaction to the latest US labour market report, which was stronger than expected across most metrics.
